Job Description
As a Senior Network Engineer you will have the opportunity to be a critical thinker in the design and build of our lab environment, one of the company’s key strategic assets. Working with a variety of enterprise-grade hardware, the Network Engineer will play a vital role in building and expanding our lab environment by bringing in real-world customer challenges, use cases, and next-generation technologies to showcase the power of our technology across the sales cycle. Responsibilities- Enhance and expand our demo and instant trial lab environment by identifying, prioritizing, and building in new uses cases and technologies to help prospects understand the value of the company
- Partner with our pre-sales engineering teams in building proof of concept (POC) scenarios for prospective customers
- Communicate and evangelize the capabilities of our lab environments to marketing, pre-sales engineering, and prospects.
- Be at the forefront of next-generation technologies (e.g. SDN, Network function virtualization) and integrate these into the lab environments.
- Drive requirement discussion, analyze test requirements, build test lab.
Qualifications- Working knowledge of other enterprise-class Switches (L2/L3), Routers, Load Balancers and Firewalls.
- Proficient in network routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS.
- Familiarity with various vendors’ products (e.g., Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Juniper, F5)
- Service provider and/or enterprise lab/production network experience.
- Virtual environment setup experience (GNS3, UNetlab)
- Understanding of SDN architecture and technology. Cisco ACI, VMWare NSX.
- CCNP or CCIE certificate or experience level is required.
- Persistent desire to uncover inventive solutions and technology
